Mental Environments Worth Entering

My iPhone home screen always greets me with a quote/phrase I customize, using a widget called Uno (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/uno-task/id1534441400). Ever few months or season, I change the phrase to let it help dictate my mind, and to encourage it to flow the right ways. It’s always tricky finding the right phrase that embodies my goals, not to mention the limited word count and managing aesthetics of the line breaks 😅.

Here are some of the phrases I’ve used:

• Enjoy the present. Slow and steady wins the race.
  
• Act to be ready before the call.
  
• There is no such thing as writers block
  
• What is quickly learned is soon forgotten
  
• There’s a time to talk, and a time to listen
  
• Ask the questions yourself. Prod. Listen. Advise.
  
• Don’t compare, just excel
  
• Prepare you space. (mind, body, soul)
